Circo Vázquez celebrates 55 years with new international shows

For over five decades, Circo Vazquez has been wowing crowds with breathtaking performances. This year, as they celebrate their 55th anniversary, they are introducing an entirely new lineup of international performers ready to wow Atlanta audiences.

ATLANTA – When Circo Vazquez sets up camp, it’s a signal for the Good Day Atlanta team to capture the magic. This year marks the 55th anniversary of the family-run circus, which is currently delighting visitors at the Plaza Fiesta Mall with shows scheduled through September 1.

If you’ve tuned into Good Day Atlanta before, you may remember our segment last year under the iconic blue and white Plaza Fiesta tent, where we highlighted some of the circus’s amazing acts. This year, the Vazquez family has outdone themselves by bringing together a new lineup of talent from around the world, promising a fresh and exciting experience for local viewers.

This season’s lineup includes the debut of Boris Nikishkin from Russia, a renowned clown and acrobat, performing for the first time on American soil. The Liazeed Angels will also be making their first appearance, led by Zaida Liazeed, a former tightrope walker, with Natalia Kapitonova, a top-level gymnast, adding pizzazz. And let’s not forget Jose Alberto Vazquez, an accomplished juggler from the Vazquez family, who continues the family’s long tradition of circus arts.
