The U.S. Olympic women’s water polo team celebrates its silver medal in Las Vegas.

This past weekend, the silver-medal winning U.S. Olympic women’s water polo team hit the bustling Las Vegas Strip for a party to remember. Joining the festivities was none other than the iconic Flavor Flav.

The festivities were led by Maggie Steffens, known not only for her athletic prowess but also for her distinctive choice of accessories, along with teammates Rachel Fattal, Jordan Raney, Ashleigh Johnson and Emily Austen. Their favorite spot was the lively Zouk Nightclub, where they arrived on Saturday night to an enthusiastic reception.

The entrance was nothing short of spectacular, with jets of cold steam from the club’s CO2 cannons and showers of confetti, while a light-up “TEAM USA” sign, reminiscent of the famous Las Vegas welcome sign, lit up the backdrop. The atmosphere was further enhanced by glow sticks and an appearance by Flavor Flav himself, decked out in patriotic attire.

The musical backdrop was provided by British DJ and producer Duke Dumont, who played his hit “Ocean Drive” among other popular tracks. Before their night out, the team enjoyed a meal at Asian-fusion restaurant Fuhu and stayed at the Conrad Las Vegas, courtesy of Flavor Flav, who had supported their trip to Paris.

Flavor Flav was not only a host, but also an enthusiastic supporter, sharing a moment with the team and expressing his pride in their accomplishments and broader impact on women’s sport.

The evening was a fitting celebration of an extraordinary achievement, combining sports, music and patriotic spirit in true Las Vegas style.
